love at first lipstick

The warm brownish red color, creamy texture and lustrous look - Revlon's Toast of New York was my very first lipstick and encounter with makeup. 

It started off with just lipstick and lip liner, then eyeliner, then eyeshadows. Before I knew it, I was into it all, from face primers to eyelash curlers. There was no denying it, it was love.

If you're anything like me, with any relationship, you talk the ears off your friends and family. You share it all!! From your first dates, to first kisses, all the way to the breakups. I'm the type of person who usually needs to 'talk about it' and for fear of sounding like a crazy person rambling on and on about how the Maybelline Falsies Volum'Express mascara works wonders on my 4 eyelashes, this blog would serve as my creative outlet to talk about my love affair with makeup.

Thus, therefore, consequently, shablooozy (don’t ask)… MY BLOG!!  I didn’t create it with the hopes of getting tons of followers, really. Besides the obvious purpose of expressing myself creatively like I said before, I was pretty darn inspired from watching Oprah’s last episode (but really now, who wasn’t??!). She said, “Everyone has a platform. Mine is a stage in a studio. Yours is wherever you are, with your own reach.” So this blog is my platform. If I just so happen to connect to one person about their love for makeup, or empower someone to find their personal platform, then this blog will have served its purpose.
